American Steam Railroad’s Forrest Nace explains all the work done in our latest video update. Highlights include:
-Removal of the 5,000-gallon oil tank from the tender.
-Wood shims and metal supports for the tank in the tender were removed.
-Side rods were checked for straightness and brasses inspected for wear by a professional contractor.
-Burrs were cleaned from staybolt holes in the firebox.
-New wooden rear footboards were created for the tender.
